Last September, for the 4th consecutive year, we had the opportunity to participate in the @lumafestival in #binhgamton #newyork, with our piece “INSTINCT”. We once again enjoyed one of the most important festivals in the world so we are very grateful to the organization for trusting us to create a new piece in one of the most emblematic buildings in the city.
“INSTINCT” tells the story of the transformation of a primitive being (the Dog-Wolf) from instinct and chaos to reason and consciousness. As the character evolves, so does the surrounding building: from a wild, organic aesthetic with animal motifs to increasingly structured, geometric, and urban styles. The mapping visualizes this inner journey through changes in style, light, and form, culminating in a rational city that, however, cannot fully erase the shadow of its wild origin.
